Aprecap Tripack Capsules Aprecap contains Aprepitant, a selective, high-affinity antagonist of human substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptors. By cross-talking with (NK1) receptors in the central nervous system, it blocks the signal pathways triggered by substance P, effectively suppressing acute and delayed nausea and vomiting. It is indicated for the prevention of acute and delayed chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) associated with highly and moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy regimens, as well as post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV).
