Vorier 200 Tablets Vorier 200 contains Voriconazole, a broad-spectrum triazole antifungal agent. It works by inhibiting fungal cytochrome P450-dependent 14-alpha-lanosterol demethylation, an essential step in fungal ergosterol biosynthesis. This depletion of ergosterol and accumulation of 14-alpha-methyl sterols disrupts the structure and function of the fungal cell membrane. It is indicated for the treatment of invasive aspergillosis, severe candidal infections (including esophageal candidiasis and candidemia), and serious fungal infections caused by Scedosporium apiospermum and Fusarium species.
