Resof Tablets RESOF Total contains a pan-genotypic fixed-dose combination of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir. Sofosbuvir is a nucleotide analogue inhibitor of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, which incorporates into viral RNA and causes chain termination during viral replication. Velpatasvir is a potent inhibitor of the HCV NS5A non-structural protein, essential for viral RNA replication and virion assembly. Together, these direct-acting antivirals suppress HCV replication across all major genotypes (1 through 6). RESOF Total is indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus infection in adult and pediatric patients with or without compensated cirrhosis, or in combination with ribavirin for patients with decompensated cirrhosis.
