ERLISO Injection
ERLISO Injection ERLISO contains Terlipressin, a synthetic analog of vasopressin. It acts as a prodrug that is converted into lysine vasopressin, selectively stimulating V1 receptors on vascular smooth muscle in the splanchnic circulation. This causes vasoconstriction of mesenteric blood vessels, reducing splanchnic blood flow and lowering portal venous pressure. It is indicated for the management of bleeding esophageal varices and type-1 hepatorenal syndrome.
