T-Planin 200 Injection T-Planin 200 contains Teicoplanin, a glycopeptide antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It binds to the D-alanyl-D-alanine terminus of cell wall peptidoglycan precursors, preventing peptidoglycan polymerization and cross-linking. It is indicated for the treatment of serious Gram-positive bacterial infections, including complicated skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, hospital-acquired pneumonia, complicated urinary tract infections, infective endocarditis, and bacteremia caused by sensitive organisms such as Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Enterococcus faecalis.
