T-Planin 400 Injection
T-Planin 400 Injection T-Planin 400 contains Teicoplanin, a glycopeptide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to D-alanyl-D-alanine terminal residues of cell wall peptidoglycan precursors. This action prevents peptidoglycan polymerization and cross-linking. It is indicated for treating severe Gram-positive infections, including skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, hospital-acquired pneumonia, complicated urinary tract infections, infective endocarditis, and septicemia caused by susceptible bacteria such as Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Enterococcus faecalis.
