Mycofit 500 Tablets Mycofit 500 contains Mycophenolate Mofetil, a prodrug of mycophenolic acid (MPA). It acts as a potent, selective, uncompetitive, and reversible inhibitor of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), suppressing the de novo pathway of guanosine nucleotide synthesis essential for T and B lymphocyte proliferation. It is indicated for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal, cardiac, or hepatic transplants, usually in combination with cyclosporine and corticosteroids.
