Mycofit-S 360 Tablets Mycofit-S 360 contains Mycophenolate Sodium (equivalent to Mycophenolic Acid 360 mg) in an enteric-coated, delayed-release formulation designed to deliver the active drug to the small intestine and minimize gastrointestinal side effects. It acts by uncompetitively and reversibly inhibiting inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), blocking the de novo pathway of guanosine nucleotide synthesis required for lymphocyte proliferation. It is indicated for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in adult patients receiving allogeneic renal transplants, typically used in combination with cyclosporine and corticosteroids.
