Mycofit-S 180 Tablets
Mycofit-S 180 Tablets Mycofit-S 180 contains Mycophenolate Sodium (equivalent to Mycophenolic Acid 180 mg) in an enteric-coated, delayed-release formulation. It works by uncompetitively and reversibly inhibiting inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), which suppresses the de novo pathway of guanosine nucleotide synthesis necessary for T and B lymphocyte proliferation. It is indicated for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal transplants, typically prescribed alongside cyclosporine and corticosteroids.
