Iverhuman 6mg Tablets IVERHUMAN 6 contains Ivermectin, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent belonging to the avermectin class. Ivermectin acts by selectively binding with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels present in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This binding increases cell membrane permeability to chloride ions, causing hyperpolarization of nerve and muscle cells, which leads to flaccid paralysis and death of the parasite. IVERHUMAN 6 is indicated for human use in the management and treatment of intestinal strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), lymphatic filariasis, scabies, and other susceptible parasitic nematode infestations.
