Ivermaxx 80mg Tablets IVERMAXX-80 contains Ivermectin, a potent semi-synthetic broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent belonging to the avermectin class. Ivermectin acts by binding selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels present in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This interaction increases cell membrane permeability to chloride ions, causing hyperpolarization of nerve and muscle cells, which results in flaccid paralysis and death of the parasite. IVERMAXX-80 is indicated for the treatment and clinical management of intestinal strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), lymphatic filariasis, scabies, and other susceptible parasitic nematode infestations.
