Diltra Tablets Diltra is a complete fixed-dose triple-combination regimen combining an Integrase Strand Transfer Inhibitor (Dolutegravir), a Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor (Lamivudine), and a Nucleotide Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor (Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate). Dolutegravir inhibits HIV integrase by binding to the integrase active site and blocking the strand transfer step of retroviral DNA integration. Lamivudine and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate undergo intracellular phosphorylation to their active metabolites, which competitively inhibit viral reverse transcriptase and cause DNA chain termination. Together, this combination effectively prevents viral integration and replication, and is indicated as a complete regimen for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and adolescents.
