ADCETRIS 50 mg ADCETRIS contains Brentuximab Vedotin, an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting CD30, covalently linked via a protease-cleavable linker to the microtubule-disrupting agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). Upon selective binding to CD30 surface receptors on expressed tumor cells, the ADC complex is internalized into the cell and degraded in the lysosome, releasing MMAE. Intracellular release of MMAE disrupts the microtubule network, leading to cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and apoptotic cell death. It is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with previously untreated or relapsed/refractory Hodgkin lymphoma, systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (sALCL), and other CD30-expressing peripheral T-cell lymphomas.
