DenosuRel 120 mg DenosuRel contains Denosumab, a human monoclonal IgG2 antibody. It acts by binding specifically to RANKL (receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand), preventing it from activating its receptor RANK on osteoclasts and osteoclast precursors. In oncology settings, this inhibition suppresses osteoclast-mediated bone destruction, reducing the risk of skeletal-related events (SREs) such as pathological fractures and spinal cord compression. It is indicated for the prevention of skeletal-related events in patients with bone metastases from solid tumors and giant cell tumor of bone.
