CETUXA CETUXA contains Cetuximab, a recombinant human-mouse chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR). It binds specifically to the extracellular domain of EGFR, competitively blocking ligand binding and preventing receptor dimerization and downstream intracellular signaling pathways. This action halts cell proliferation, induces apoptosis, and inhibits angiogenesis and metastasis in EGFR-expressing tumors. It is indicated for the treatment of KRAS wild-type metastatic colorectal cancer and squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN).
