Erlonat 100mg Tablets Erlonat 100 contains Erlotinib, an oral, reversible inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase. Erlotinib selectively inhibits the intracellular phosphorylation of tyrosine kinase associated with EGFR (HER1/ErbB1), preventing downstream signal transduction pathways involved in tumor cell proliferation, survival, anti-apoptosis, invasion, and angiogenesis. Erlonat 100 is indicated for the treatment of patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors have EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 (L858R) substitution mutations, as well as in combination with gemcitabine for the first-line treatment of patients with locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic pancreatic cancer.
