PACLIKAST-300 Injection

PACLIKAST-300 Injection PACLIKAST-300 contains Paclitaxel, a natural diterpenoid taxane antineoplastic compound derived from the Pacific yew tree (Taxus brevifolia). Paclitaxel acts as a microtubule stabilizer by binding specifically to the beta-tubulin subunit, promoting assembly of microtubules from tubulin dimers and preventing microtubule depolymerization. This hyper-stabilization disrupts normal mitotic spindle dynamics, inducing G2/M phase cell cycle arrest, suppressing interphase cellular functions, and activating apoptotic cell death pathways. PACLIKAST-300 is supplied as a concentrated non-aqueous solution for intravenous infusion following dilution. It is indicated for the treatment of advanced or metastatic ovarian carcinoma (subsequent therapy or first-line in combination with cisplatin), node-positive or metastatic breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and second-line treatment of AIDS-related Kaposi's sarcoma.
